About Doodles

Allergy-friendly, service dog quality companions.

The Irishdoodle 50-65 lbs

Athletic, loving, and ultra-low shedding, the Irishdoodle stuns with looks, and melts hearts with their rollicking, affectionate disposition. Crossed between two family favorite breeds, the Poodle and the Irish Setter, Irishdoodles are intelligent, non-agessive , low bark, and highly trainable. As the Poodle breed is completely non-shedding and the Irish Setter is low shedding, the Irishdoodle provides an option for families who love the wavy, teddy-bear style look for the F1 generation, but require a very low - non-shedding dog.

When bred for F1B (second generation), Irish Doodles are wavy- very curly, and are also virtually non shedding.

Irishdoodles are athletic and agile dogs, who love running, jumping, swimming, and all sorts of outdoor activities. Needing a minimum of 45 mins of exercise per day, Irishdoodles are a match for families who love to get outside!

The Goldendoodle 50-65lbs

Lovable, beautiful and playful, the wavy good looks of the Goldendoodle have become a frequent sighting in the boroughs in recent years. A truly versatile dog, they offer endless good nature, striking intelligence, and an easy going disposition.

Goldendoodles were first bred in the 1960s, but became popular in the 1990s. They are a cross between a Poodle and a Golden Retriever. Renowned for their hypoallergenic coats. Non-shedding Goldendoodles offer a wonderful option for families who experience dog-related allergies. Other Goldendoodles take on more of the characteristics of their Golden Retriever heritage, and have low-level shedding. If allergies are a concern for you, its really important that you educate yourself about the variety of Goldendoodle you are interested in.

Highly trainable, gentle, and low-bark. Goldendoodles need plenty of time outdoors every single day. They thrive with families that enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors.

The Mini Doodle 18-35lbs

Miniature Doodles are bred for the same beautiful coats and keen intelligence as the Standard sized doodle, but they grow to be much smaller, around 35lbs or under. Mini Doodles require more time and attention than their Standard sized cousins. They too enjoy walks and outdoor activity, but don’t require quite as much exercise as a Standard sized doodle.

Mini Doodles are bred from Miniature Poodles, and inherit some of the breed characteristics from their smaller heritage. Mini Poodles and Doodles are bright, loving, and intelligent, and due to their lap-dog heritage they tend to bond more closely with just one family member. They are not well suited to spending long hours alone, as they can be prone to separation anxiety and can become destructive. It is our best recommendation that mini-doodles go to families that work from home or can take a dog into the office.

Mini doodles are smart as a whip, quick to be trained, and excellent companions, not to mention, they fit more easily on a bed! This means that if you choose a mini doodle, your puppy will also inherit the benefits of its smaller parent.

When choosing a puppy based on size, temperament is not the only consideration. It is equally important to consider the variety of Doodle you are choosing, and the way that variety will fit into your lifestyle. A puppy’s personality and physical traits are inherited from both its parents.
